Purpose

The purpose of the ABORM Annual Scholarship is to foster new scholarly inquiry in the field of Oriental Reproductive Medicine & Infertility for publication in the Journal of Chinese Medicine: http://www.jcm.co.uk/journal-information/author-guidelines.

Areas of scholarly inquiry and articles may expand upon previously published areas related to the field of Oriental Reproductive Medicine and Infertility, or they may focus on new areas of inquiry related to Oriental Reproductive Medicine & Infertility.

Details

The ABORM Annual Scholarship is awarded once annually to one individual in an accredited Acupuncture College in either the Masters Degree Program or the DAOM Program.  Individuals applying for the ABORM Annual Scholarship must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in order to apply, and must submit two (2) letters of recommendation from Faculty with their ABORM Annual Scholarship Application.

The ABORM Annual Scholarship amount is $1000.00, with the scholarship to be paid in full upon successful submission and acceptance for publication of an article in the Journal of Chinese Medicine (JCM).  Applications with topic proposals must be submitted to the ABORM by March 31st annually, and the winner will be notified by April 30th of that same year. The first completed draft of the proposed project must be submitted to the ABORM by September 30th of that same year for review and revision over a two-week period. Then the final draft of the proposed project must be submitted to both the ABORM and the Journal of Chinese Medicine (JCM) by November 15th of that same year.  Upon acceptance for publication of the scholarship project, the award funds shall be dispensed immediately.
